For You, Mom

You are so special

I want you to know it, too!

You always make me happy.

even when I am feeling blue.

You make me my breakfast.

My lunch and dinner, too.

You wake me up in the morning

to get me ready for school.

You teach me so many things

for that I say, “Thank you,”

But I really like it most

when you hold me near,

give me a big hug,

and I then get to say,

I love you Mom, always,

For forever and a day.
